Microscopy offers a lot to youSince my childhood I am interested in microscopy. Not only because of the capabilities of this beautiful instrument, but also because of the wide variety of possibilities it offers to enter into the hidden world and wonders of nature. During many years I did not find the time to occupy myself with this fascinating activity which I had once started, long time ago.But, somewhere hidden in a forgotten corner of my study, an old microscope, which I had bought in the former German Democratic Republic, was still waiting for me. Having more time now being retired, this dust covered microscope inspired me to become active in microscopy again.Looking around in the modern world of microscopy, I soon became aware of the advanced equipment and techniques available today. The combination of microscopy, digital photography and the huge amount of related information present on the internet, formed an additional incentive to make a step forward.Let me be honest: microscopy is not the cheapest activity if you go for quality. After thorough investigation I discovered and obtained modern equipment of solid quality, with a proper versatility and last but not least, with a favorable price-performance ratio. With thanks to that old dust covered microscope - which remembered me of the fine hours I had spent with it in the past - I feel happy now of being able to carry out state of the art microscopy and micro photography. Although the microscope is an old invention, it goes without saying that this instrument keeps on opening new windows to many fields of interest and offers great pleasure. On this website you will find some results obtained over the last couple of years.
